Beni Shankul Governor Reiterates his Country’s Fight against Any Anti- Sudan Activity

Khartoum - Conference of borders relations between the Blue Nile State and Beni Shankul Province concluded in the Sudanese state yesterday, where the two sides agreed on the deployment of joint forces between the two regions, besides activation of cultural and sports ties, social relations, and organizing  a native administration conference between them.
Blue Nile Governor, Hussein Yassin said that the border security is the main work that paves the way for the work of the committees between the two countries, reiterating that his government will maintain peace, besides securing the Ethiopian new dam and to prepare the work of committees that will work for the return of refugees, indicating that the economic issues between the two regions  aim to welfare of the their people, reiterating his government’s keenness to implement all the recommendations of the conference.
For his part, governor of Beni Shankul Province, Al-Shazali Hassan reiterated his country commitment to prevent any hostile activity against Sudan and to fight smuggling of goods, arms and others.
Gaisan Commissioner, member of the security and political committee, Al-Montasir Al-Haj said that the committee agreed to prevent anti-activities for the two sides, and will hold regular meetings for the exchange of information on crossings to prevent smuggling.
