CTC Group Launches its Activities in S. Darfur

Khartoum - As part of its high concern in the development of the agricultural sector in Sudan, CTC Group has inaugurated provisional premises for its Technologies Transfer Center TTC in Nyala town, capital of South Darfur State.
The inauguration of the Center timed with a forum organized by CTC Group under the title of “The Role of Agricultural Technologies in Increasing Production at Traditional Agricultural Sector,” with the participation of a number of related bodies officials concerned with the agriculture sector, including research centers, farmers and other stakeholders.
It is to be recalled that the occasions were attended by the FAO Representative in Sudan Dr. Babagana Ahmadu, Acting Governor Minister of Agriculture of South Darfur State Engineer Sabiel Ahmed Sabiel, who affirmed that CTC Group contributed to agricultural sector in Sudan, especially South Darfur State. Mr. Sabil ensured   their keenness on developing production and productivity in the state in partnership with the private sector.
CTC Group has a series of Technologies Transfer Centers TTC  has been established in many states across  Sudan, covering Gedarif, which was first ever TTC in Sudan founded in 2003, followed by Sennar, Wad-Medani, Kadugli, Al-Obeid and Ad-Dammer.
The TTC aims to provide solutions for the agricultural sector at large aligned with the specifics of each state in terms of agricultural equipment, inputs and spare-parts and maintenance of machines, besides training of farmers and workers.
The inauguration of the center and the forum were attended by the Director of Technologies Transfer and Center TTC of CTC Group Prof. Mamoun Dhualbait, Group External Relations Manager Sami Ahmed Al Gaali, Assistant Director of Engineering Sector Engineer Ali Ghadoum, Agrochemicals Sales Manager at CTC Agrochemicals eng Aymen Dafallah and Nasr-Eldin Nureddayem from sales department of agricultural machinery at CTC Engineering Company.
This beside representative of NuFarm Company for Agricultural Chemicals in Sudan Engineer Amin Khidir Al Ballah as well as representatives of Ministries of Agriculture and Foreign Affairs.
