Khartoum- The Higher Relief Committee has decided to start sending humanitarian aid for relieving Burma Muslims next week.
This was announced by the chairman of the committee, Ibrahim Abdel-Halim, in a statement to SUNA following a meeting held by the committee at its premises at Al Zubair Charity Foundation Thursday.
He pointed out the meeting decided that the Relief Committee starts its work by sending urgent relief via Bangladesh, including medicines, clothes, food stuff and shelter materials, pointing out that the committee would work through all its branches in Sudan.
Abdel-Halim called on all sectors of the Sudanese people to extend support to the relief campaign.
