Al Bashir Reiterates Sudan’s Support to Peaceful Solutions in Syria and Yemen

Khartoum - (Agencies) President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir, reiterated, in his speech to the 29th Ordinary Arab Summit in Dhahran, steadfast position on

the peaceful resolution of all Arab issues, especially the Syrian and Yemeni issues.
President of the Republic condemned the firing of ballistic missiles by the Houthi militias on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, declaring Sudan's rejection of regional interventions in the Syrian issue, calling for an agreement to stop the war paid by the Syrian people.
President of the Republic met, on the sidelines of the summit, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohamed bin Salman, where the meeting discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between Sudan and the Kingdom and regional issues of common concern.
Foreign Minister, Ibrahim Ghandour said that the Crown Prince has insured on the role of Sudan in common Arab issues and its contribution to security and stability in the region.
On the other hand, the President praised the advanced historical relations between the Sudan and the United Arab Emirates during his meeting with the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai, Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, where the two sides discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them to serve the common interests of their peoples
The President of the Republic also met with the Head of State of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullah Faramago, and the Djiboutian President, Ismail Omer, separately, where he discussed with them bilateral relations and issues of common interest between the Sudan and Somalia and Djibouti.
The meetings of the President of the Republic included the State Minister of the Russian Foreign Ministry, where they discussed the relations of cooperation between the two countries, and the developments of the strategic partnership that is in the interest of their peoples.
According to Foreign Minister, Ibrahim Ghandour, the country expects the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in November.
