Zalingei – (SMC) Central Darfur government has started a field survey in the voluntary return villages, affirming that the requirements of the returnees are on top of the priorities of the State.
Physical Planning Minister in Central Darfur State, Mudathir Adam told (SMC) that the field survey includes about 123 villages which witnessed voluntary return this year, pointing to the tremendous influx of the returnees a matter that resulted to amending the budget to allow for providing the requirements of the voluntary return.
Adam disclosed that the success of firearms collection campaign contributed to a great extent in encouraging the IDPs and refugees to return to their home villages.
