Norwegian Minister Discusses Migration and Human Trafficking Issues in Khartoum

Khartoum – (Mona Mustafa) Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Dr. Hamid Mannan has affirmed Sudan keenness towards refugees’ issues and its cooperation with the related parties to curb illegal migration, pointing out to Sudan endeavors  to control the illegal migration considering its location as crossing state to Europe a matter that requires providing the support to stop the phenomenon.
This came while the Minister was receiving yesterday the Norwegian Minister of Justice.
The Norwegian Minister called for training and integrating the Sudanese migrants.
The Sudanese Minister lauded the Norwegian stance in supporting Sudan.
The Norwegian Minister lauded Sudan’s stance in curbing the illegal migration, affirming supporting Sudan to control the illegal migration and smuggling in coordination with the IOM.
For his part, Police Director General, Lt. Gen. Hashim Al-Hussien affirmed that Sudan’s location makes it a target from the migrants to Europe, calling for more support to protect the Sudanese borders and controlling it.
