Khartoum - (SUNA) The State Minister at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Al Sadiq Fadlallah has met with the Secretary General of the Union of Arab Agricultural Engineers and former Chairman of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) Yahiya Bakour, in the presence of the Chairman of the Union of Sudanese Agricultural Engineers Al-Wasila Hassan Manufali.
The Minister appreciated the role of the Arab Engineers' Union and its efforts and great concern with training on modern technologies and the linkage of small farmers to the market for the development of the agricultural sector.
Sabah Al-Khair said, in press statements, that they were keen to continue supporting small farmers by focusing on women and youth as well as the rehabilitation of the idle projects to increase production and achieve food security.
For his part, Bakour stressed the keenness of the Arab Engineers' Union and its commitment to cooperation and exchange of experiences, revealing organization of a biennial conference to discuss agricultural affairs in the Arab world and prepare the necessary plan for the advancement of the agricultural sector.
