Khartoum - The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning has disclosed abolition of all customs fees imposed on production inputs in the budget of the year 2018 as well as cancelling development tax and the additional fee estimated at nearly 16%   while the official exchange rate of the Sudanese pound against the dollar was unified and specified to be 18 Sudanese pounds for one Dollar.
State Minister at the Ministry of Finance Abdul Rahman Dirar has promised the intervention of the Ministry of Finance for controlling exchange rate in a manner that guarantees that it does not adversely affect prices.
He disclosed commitment of the budget to removing all customs deformations and abolishing custom fees on production inputs.
