
Khartoum - The celebrations marking 62th anniversary of Sudan's independence Declaration from within the Parliament kicked off Tuesday at the Khartoum State's Legislative
Assembly amid national anthems, folkloric songs and military parades.
The celebrations were attended by the Vice-President of the Republic and chairman of the higher committee for celebrating the Independence Day, Hassabo Mohammed Abdul Rahman, the Governor of Khartoum State, Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Mohamed Hussein, and the Chairman of Khartoum State's Legislative Assembly, Engineer Siddig Mohamed Ali.
The Vice - President has addressed the celebrations affirming the government's commitment to implementation the outcome of the national dialogue and the National Document.
Hassabo also affirmed the state's keenness to implement the State Reform Program to achieve one united Sudan.
