SAF Receives Weapons from Border Guards Forces in W. Darfur

Khartoum - The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), through the 15th Infantry Division in West Darfur, announced that it had received weapons from the Border Guards Forces, where the division commander, Major General Qamaruddin Mohamed Fadl Al-Mawla said that the plan was the actual start of the weapons collection process.
Fadl Al-Mawla said, on Sunday, that the campaign of weapons collection from the regular forces started with the forces in the headquarters of the state, to be completed in all localities, administrative units and villages according to the plan of the technical committee in West Darfur state, indicating that weapons unneeded will be put in stores according to the directives of the Presidency and High Committee for the Collection of Weapons, headed by Vice President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman
Commander of the Border Guards, West Darfur, Col. Idris Hassan Ibrahim stressed the full cooperation with the Technical Committee in the success of its mission to collect weapons from regular forces, tribes and individuals.
