Technical Analysis of Amnesty International Images Proves Fabrications of Chemical Weapons Use

Khartoum - Experts and specialists in the field of photographic images and maps has disclosed that the maps which Amnesty International resorted to in its recent report

about Jebel Mara were fabricated. High technologies and specialized programmes were used to change the features of the satellite photos and air images which it presented in the report to prove its alleged accusations against Sudan.
A number of experts said the number s of photos exhibited in the report of the organization as revealed by the scientific analysis were picked up last year. The images were manipulated to suggest that they are peicked up in 2016 stressing that this can be noticed easily through the pictures analyzed by Sudanese specialized in this field.
Brigadier Ibrahim Mansour Member of National Security and Intelligence Service elaborated that the images of Srong region were taken in November last year and May of the current year. He noted that these are visual pictures not pictures of multiple spectrums a matter that  proves that these pictures cannot be used as evidence of using chemical weapons  while the technolgy of photoshop was used to conceal some of the features of Kurow west Jebel Mara  region pictures and the degree of resolution some parts of the pictures were manipulated
He affirmed that in some of the pictures the Erdas programme was used noting that some of the pictures according to the dates written on them proves faking by of Amnesty International. Hel  stressing that there is a clear manipulation in the images of Kuro region west of Jebel Mara particularly with regards of the resolution of the pictures and there nt any effects of devastation  or fire.
He affirmed after analysis that that the pitures taken in December of last year are the same exhibited by the organization caliming that it has taken in May 2016 and the difference is only in the degree in the pitures resolution and most of the images were repeated. He noted that the organization has magnified the image of the hospital of Kagro whereby no effects of fires existed and it was apprent that the organiztion has used the programme of improving sattelite images
He said the images of the cover of the report were found to be taken form google programnoting that a specialist Sudanese team has taken space photography Roftaj region this October and the results proved non-existence of any fire effects or damage a matter which  confirms fabrication of the organization report.
He elaborated that the organization has resorted in its report with pictures  which were cut from video clips  or from processed  images throough  through cutting a specific part of the photo  for condening Sudan  stressing that this cut off affect the picture’s origional information stressing that that most of the pictures published in the organization website  or other sites are pitures cut from video clips and it is impossible to have information as phtographic pictures  saying that this intentional by the organization  to leave no effect of the fabrication operations.
He went on to say that 6 photos  the organization report were amended via a drawing program and they include within them data file and that upon enetring the picture to a drawing programme a new introduction file for the image appears  whereby the amndment was conducted last  September  between 1:35  and 5:05 pm.
He  asserted that the report depend on  alleged hearing testimonies from alleged witnesses lacking in the simpliset elements and criteria  that  the witnesses must fulfill  and they are not backed by any legal evidences or objective evidences.  In addition to that it depended on testimonies from elements of Abdulwahid Nour movement which is a movement still rejecting the call for peace  highlighing  UNAMId statement and the visit of the American envoy to Darfur , the  international reports on conditions in Darfur which did not indicate any use of chemical weapons. He asserted that a joint visit between the Sudanese government and the United Nations Agencies were paid to the region last August.
