SCOVA Opens New Office in S. Kordofan

Khartoum – (SUNA) The Chairman of Sudan Council of Voluntary Agencies (SCOVA), Daffallah Mohamed Kanon, has announced of opening of a new office for (SCOVA) in South Kordofan State.
He stated to SUNA that the council is concerned with coordination between organizations and works on holding abilities of organizations and connecting federal organizations with grass-roots and United States Agencies that work in state.
Kanon indicated that during his visit Saturday to South Kordofan State he met with the Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid in the state and was briefed on the humanitarian situation of displaced people and refugees from South Sudan who daily arrive and their health situation which necessitate doubling efforts for enhance their health situation.
The meeting was attended by more than 30 organizations and discussed the humanitarian situation and the difficulties and challenges that face them.
