Beijing Declaration Commends Sudan Efforts on Peace in S. Sudan

Beijing- (SUNA) Declaration of ministerial meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum co-chaired by Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and China and attended   by Emir of

Kuwait and President of China lauded efforts made by Sudan on reaching peace agreement between  the South Sudanese parties.
 The Beijing Declaration also called for removing Sudan from the American list of state sponsors of terrorism.
Member of Sudan delegation and head of its delegation to meeting of Senior Officials of the Forum, Ambassador Abdul-Mahmoud Abdul-Haleem, said that Beijing Declaration praised initiative of the President of the Republic of National Dialogue, and called for settlement of Sudan’s debts and withdrawal of UNAMID forces according to understandings reached with international and regional parties.
 Ambassador Abdul-Mahmoud added that State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Osama Faisal delivered Sudan’s address before the Forum and commended the strategic Arab-Sino relations and partnership.
It is worth mentioning that State Minister, Osama Faisal headed Sudan delegation to the Arab-China Cooperation Forum.
