US$60 Million to Empower Young People in Agriculture

Khartoum - The National Center for Entrepreneurship and Nonfinancial Services at the Family Bank launched the first training program to empower young people in the field

of agricultural entrepreneurship.
The programme coordinator, Saleh Khairallah Hussein said, in a press statement, that the programme aims to train two thousand young men and women and help them in the development of investment plans to obtain the necessary funding where the financing of one project of thirty thousand dollars, adding that the banks financed the project has established a financing portfolio of sixty million dollars to finance the project over the next five years.
Director of the National Center for Entrepreneurship at the Family Bank, TahiraWali El Din said that the project aims training in the agricultural value chain, in addition to providing advice to the administrative and technical aspects, adding that the Family Bank helps young people to provide projects and feasibility studies and bank linkage to reduce the unemployment rate of young people and support sector of production in the country.
