Khartoum- (Khalda Elyas) State Minister at the Ministry of Industry Dr. Abdu Daoud Suleiman has announced that the 8th. Session of ‘Made in Sudan’ Exhibition would be
held shortly before the advent of the holy fasting month of Ramadan this year at the fairs ground in Burri.
This came when the State Minister chaired the first meeting of the higher committee for the exhibition, in the presence of Chairman of the Sudanese Chamber of Industries Association, Moawia Elberier, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry Balal Yusuf Al Mubarak and a representative of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education.
The State Minister affirmed that the Sudanese industry is still strong and capable of contributing to the development of the Sudanese economy.
He indicated that the Sudanese industry is capable to overcome challenges it faces and change them into opportunities and working programs to provide high-quality products.
Suleiman explained that the exhibition would display the latest Sudanese industrial products as it would also sell the products at reduced prices for the public.
He lauded the partnership between the Ministries of Industry and Higher Education for linking the Sudanese universities and scientific research centers with the industrial sector to benefit from their innovations in developing the Sudanese industry.
The Chairman of the Sudanese Chamber of Industries Association, Moawia Elberier, on his part, affirmed that the association has organized industrial exhibitions in all states of the country that contributed considerably to the promotion of the Sudanese industrial products and presented high quality goods at reasonable prices.
