Microfinance Bodies to Stand on Challenges and Problems Facing Microfinance: Former Governor of Central Bank of Sudan

Khartoum- Dr. Mohamed Khair al Zubair , the former Governor of  Central Bank of Sudan  (COBS)

called on societies ad bodies work  in the field of microfinance to stand o n the challenges and problems facing microfinance in Sudan  for the sake of poorer and those who in need for such services , where  the government expects their role in increasing product and productivity through spreading culture of microfinance , and simplifying procedures .
Dr. Khair addressed the 4th Forum of Ishrag Dirar for microfinance organized recently by banks and microfinance bodies and sponsored by microfinance insurance agency, Safety Company for Insurance, and the Sudanese Banks Union, under the theme (Insurance for sustainable microfinance). He said that the state depends on microfinance in the public budget for the state , in addition to the related activities and programs of direct impact in the of product of microfinance enabling microfinance to be available to all people through establishing specialized societies and bodies in managing microfinance and its sustainability . The forum discussed two scientific working papers tackled Vision of microfinance, along with the microfinance risks and protection.
Meanwhile, Sami Mohamed Saeed , Chairperson of Board of directors of microfinance bodies appreciated the role of the former governor of Central Bank of Sudan COBS , in setting the first bases for microfinance in Central Bank of Sudan .
