The General Authority of Antiquities and Museums Sets Plan to Promote Sudan Civilizations

Khartoum (Khalda Elyas) -The director of the General Authority of Antiquities and Museums

Dr. Abdulrahman Ali has affirmed that lofting US economic embargo will enable Sudan to return to international community, urging the government to benefit from the lifting of sanctions.
 
In an exclusive statement to Sudan vision Ali said “the lifting of sanctions encourage the authority of antiquities to attract financial and technical support from the organizations working in this field.
He added we urge  US organizations to explore more antiquities in Sudan, also the general director called on exploring antiquities throughout the states.
The ministry of tourism has set a plan to protect the historical and financial values of the antiquities and museums “it is high time to benefit from the US scholarship to train our staff and to promote capacity building through regional and international partnership to modernize Sudan antiquity research” added Ali who revealed that conferences and international exhibitions is to be organized to promote Sudan civilization and antiquity.
He pointed to the necessity of construction hotels that meet international standard to attract US tourists and to contribute to our national economy, he assured that lifting sanctions facilitates the mission of credit cards that enable tourists to deal with international banking system.
The director disclosed that preparation to organize exhibition to reflect Sudanese civilizations in Washington and to provide data to those who study antiquities and researchers, he informed 7 US antiquity missions working in Sudan.
