Khartoum – Vice President Hassabo Mohammed Abdul Rahman has said that the purpose of Nertiti meeting which included the security committees in the five states of

Darfur and the Supreme Firearms Collection Committee is to mobilize all the capabilities to accomplish the firearms collection campaign, warning the citizens from the consequences of keeping firearms after the completion of the campaign, pointing out that the punishments will include life imprisonment and death sentences.
He directed the legislative council to launch an awareness campaign in the villages to warn the citizens from keeping firearms, calling for a clear plan which will be followed by the Presidency.
Hassabo called on the citizens to preserve the stability achieved through more coordination with the security authorities.
