Khartoum- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gum Arabic Dr. Taj El-Sir Mustafa has disclosed that Sudan has presented an application for adoption of gum Arabic as

healthy food fibers during the International Conference on Food Safety.
He indicated that the measure would expand marketing of the crop by many folds.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the International Organization for Promotion and Development of Gum Arabic Dr Hashim Yousuf Al-Degair said the organization supports projects of gum Arabic producers through the social responsibility, where projects in the fields of water, education and health have been implemented especially in in North Kordofan State.
He referred to the visit by the chairperson of the of the international gums organization to Sudan these days.
