Khartoum (SUNA) - The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Mohamed Osman Al-Rikabi
has met the Turkish Minister of Industry, Science and Technology Farouk Ozloo ways on how to begin immediately in the implementation of the directives of the heads of the two countries and the agreements that were signed during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Khartoum in December 2017.
The two sides signed the minutes of the joint meeting, in which it was agreed to start cooperation and activate it in several aspects.
The minister also discussed with the President of the Federation of Turkish Chambers Rifaatoglu ways of enabling the private sector in Turkey to engage in the investment fields in Sudan, the transfer of successful experiences and establishment of partnerships with private sector institutions in Sudan.
Dr. Al-Rikabi concluded his activities in Ankara with a meeting with the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Mohamed Shamshik where they underscored the outcome of the minister's meetings with the Turkish side including the establishment of credit ceilings for financing projects in Sudan.
