Khartoum to Host African Heart Association Conference next Saturday

Khartoum - Khartoum will host the conference of the African Heart Association, with the participation of 500 specialists, consultants and technicians at home and 200 experts from Africa, America, Europe and Asia.
Head of the Sudanese Heart Association, Prof. Kamal Al-Amda said that this conference is being held for the first time in Africa, pointing out that 4 workshops will be organized for consultants, cardiologists, catheters and family doctors.
Director of Ahmed Gassem Hospital, Dr. Huda Hamed revealed the increase of heart diseases in the country and an increase in operations that reached 300%, pointing out that the hospital is to open a training center for doctors and training center of deputies and internship heart surgery.
