La Liga: Suarez Double Seals Barcelona Comeback Win

La Liga: Suarez Double Seals Barcelona Comeback Win
Barcelona stunned Rayo Vallecano with two late goals to come from behind and win 3-2 to extend their lead at the top of LaLiga.
The Spanish champions took and early lead through Luis Suarez's goal but looked to be heading for defeat when efforts from Jose Pozo and Alvaro Garcia either side of half time turned the game on its head.
Ousmane Dembele equalised with three minutes remaining and then Suarez got his second goal of the game in the final minute to seal a dramatic comeback.
Suarez opened the scoring after 11 minutes, firing home from point-blank range from Jordi Alba's cutback. But a wonderful long range strike from Pozo got the hosts level after 35 minutes.
Rayo stunned Barcelona by taking the lead through substitute Garcia. The 26-year-old had been on the field less than a minute when he turned the ball in from close range after Raul de Tomas' diving header came back off a post.
Dembele equalised with three minutes left with a low half-volley straight into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.
Barcelona then won it in the final minute when Suarez popped up at the far post to convert Roberto's cross, squeezing the ball past Alberto Garcia.
Earlier on Saturday, second-placed Atletico Madrid had to settle for a point after conceding a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw at lowly Leganes.
A superb free-kick from Antoine Griezmann put Atletico ahead in the 69th minute at Butarque. But Diego Simeone's side were pegged back with eight minutes remaining when Southampton loanee Guido Carrillo tapped in from close range after Rodri Tarin's effort came back off the crossbar.
Santiago Solari's first LaLiga game in charge of Real Madrid ended in victory after two late goals earned a 2-0 success over Real Valladolid.
Solari, in temporary charge after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui, looked like enduring a frustrating afternoon at the Bernabeu until a Kiko own goal broke the deadlock seven minutes from time.
Captain Sergio Ramos wrapped up the three points from the penalty spot in the 88th minute after Fernando Calero brought down Karim Benzema.
Victory for Real - thrashed 5-1 by bitter rivals Barcelona last weekend - was their first in six league matches.
Elsewhere, Valencia suffered a surprise 1-0 home defeat to Girona, with Pere Pons claiming the only goal at the Mestalla early in the second half.
