Lual Deng Calls on Al Bashir to Play Role in Solving S. Sudan Crisis

Khartoum: (smc) The leading Figure of Sudan People Liberation Movement, the former Minister of Oil Dr. Lual Deng has called President of the Republic Omer Al Bashir to play a big role for solving south Sudan problem as he is well aware of the origin of the crisis  and he has influence at the region vicinity and Sudan's  neighborhood countries.
Deng told SMC that the directives of the President Al Bashir of opening the borders  routes have contributed a lot in the traffic of trade and mitigation of the suffering of the people of south Sudan calling for resuming the official and people's connection between the two countries so that peace may be realized  via Khartoum.
Deng outlined that stability of the south is linked to stability of Khartoum stressing that resolving the crises of the factions in the south requires making real concessions from the different parties .
He added that "the national accord and understanding will eventually lead to signing a real peace between the factions of the south.
