UN Urges S. Sudanese Refugees in Sudan to Respect Local Laws

Khartoum - United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi has declared determination of the international organization to continue its support to the projects for the refugees of South Sudan at Al Nimir Camp in East Darfur State.
Grandi urged the Southern Sudanese refugees to respect the local laws and cooperate with the host community.
Governor of East Darfur State Anas Omer Mohamed, who received Grandi, affirmed that the state has opened its doors for receiving the refugees in accordance with the decision of the Presidency.
He said the government of the state is exerting considerable efforts through its various institutions to remove difficulties facing the refugees.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees started a visit to Sudan Tuesday.
