Khartoum - The annual coordinative meeting of the Public Administration of Animal Health and Combating Epidemics for the Managers of Animal Resources at the States has
concluded sessions and issued its recommendations yesterday in Soba area.
The meeting recommended accrediting performance of veterinary services as a national program and a basic policy through joint cooperation between the center and the states and that the veterinary plan is to be a federal plan in the animal resources sector and this is to be enshrined in the permanent constitution.
The meeting recommended executing the national plans of combating epidemic diseases and the cross-border diseases that affect animal resources exports via the Public Administration of Animal Health and Combating Epidemics. It also recommended increasing exports and realizing a value added as well as enabling Sudan to compete in the international trade on animal and its products.
The meeting called for availing human cadres and raising their professional capacities in the sector of animal resources especially veterinarians and the assisting cadres.
