Government Affirms Commitment to Roadmap Agreement despite Violations by Armed Movements

Khartoum- The government has affirmed its commitment to implementation of the African roadmap agreement and the ceasefire

despite the violations committed by the armed movements, which are signatory to the agreement.
Minister of Animal Resources and member of the negotiating delegation of the government Bushara Jumaa Aror said the rebel movements tended to resort to killing the innocent civilians and looting whenever they experience difficult situations, adding that their recent aggressions were intended to abort the peace efforts and make noise before the final lifting of the sanctions from the Sudan in next July.
He called on the international community to bring pressure to bear on the armed movements to accept the peace process, pointing out that the government has notified the Troika states on the aggressions by the movements that targeted the citizens.
