Big Quantities of Cash Money Arrive in Gedarif to Meet Requirements of Harvest Season

Khartoum - Considerable amount of cash money has arrived in Gedarif town to meet the requirements of the harvest season of sesame and other crops in Gedarif state, which cover an area of 2.8 million feddans.
Governor of Gedarif State Engineer Mirghani Salih Sidahmed praised the concern accorded by the federal government to the state and its fulfilment to its pledge of provision of cash money to meet the requirements of the harvest season.
Director of the Central Bank of Sudan in Gedarif State, Abdallah Gamal-Eddin, on his part, confirmed arrival of big quantities of cash money to the state for the harvest operations, lauding the efforts exerted by the specialized administrations at the Central Bank of Sudan for the purpose.
He indicated that Gedarif State is considered as a leading state in supporting the national economy through production of agricultural crops, noting that the arrival of cash money was met by great satisfaction from the farmers.
He also affirmed that cash money is now available at all automatic teller machines of all banks in Gedarif.
