Environment Ministry Adopts US Project to Produce Energy from Waste

Khartoum - The Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Physical Development has adopted a project presented by the American Agade company, which is related to

the production of clean energy and the use of waste and recycling it to combat pollution.
State Minister at the Ministry of Environment stressed the keenness of his ministry on the project, as it is a quantum leap in the disposal of waste and benefit from global technology for the production of clean energy, noting that the project would cover all the states of Sudan.
Adil Salah, the company's representative, director of development in Africa and the Middle East, pointed out that the coming days would witness practical steps for implementation of this vital project in Sudan, reiterating keenness of the company on providing the latest scientific technologies in the field of waste disposal and changing it to environment-friendly energy.
It is to be noted that the project aims at affirming commitments of Sudan towards reduction of emission of gases.
