Delegation of Rwanda Police College Gets Acquainted with Community Police Experience

Khartoum - (Hashim Omer) The visiting delegation of Rwanda National Police College has got acquainted with the experience of the Sudanese Community Police when the

delegation visited its headquarters in Khartoum.
Addressing the delegation of the Rwanda National Police College, General Coordinator of People’s and Community Police Yusuf Bashir Khalid reviewed its various programs.
Acting Director of the General Directorate of People’s and Community Police Brigadier Tariq Mohamed Ali Al Haj, on his part, expressed thanks and appreciation to the delegation of Rwanda National Police College for their working visit to get acquainted with their experience and meet the commanders, officers and coordinators of the People’s Police besides community leaderships and members of the communal committees.
He pointed out that the People’s Police incarnate the saying that “security is the responsibility of all.”
The Commissioner of Rwanda Police and Director of Rwanda National Police College, on his part, lauded the experience of the Sudanese People’s and Community Police in the preventive work and combating crime and the contribution of the community in this connection.
He further lauded the pioneering experience of the Sudanese Community Police and its various program as part of the contribution of the community to shoulder part of the security responsibility.
Rwanda Police and students of African countries studying at Rwanda National Police College would benefit from this field visit to the Sudanese Community Police, he added.
At the conclusion of the program of the visit, the delegation of Rwanda National Police College attended a Dinner Banquet held at their honor at Al Saha Al Libnania Restaurant in Khartoum, in the presence of Maj. Gen. (police) Emad Khalafallah, the representative of the Director General of the Sudanese Police Forces, who praised the visit of the Rwandan delegation, describing it as a model for cooperation among the African countries and exchange of experiences in the field of security work.
At the conclusion of the celebration, the commander of Rwanda Police was honored by the People’s Police.
The commander of Rwanda National Police College also honored the Coordinator General of People’s and Community Police.
