VP Directs Petroleum Ministry to Make Control over Fuel Consumption

Khartoum- (SUNA) Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman  has directed Ministry of Petroleum and  Gas  to make control  over  consumption of  fuels and to secure needs of remote towns  depending  on gasoline in pumping drinking water.
This came when the Vice-President met at the Republican Palace Tuesday with Minister of Oil and Gas, Engineer Azhari  Abdul-Gadir  who said in a press statement  that he briefed the Vice-President  on details of agreement with South Sudan  on operation  of  oilfields  and  re-pumping  of oil  in the pipeline.
The Minister added the provision of fuels for agricultural season, stressing that the Ministry gives agriculture top priority.
