Delegation of the American Commission for Religious Freedom Visits IDPs Camps in Darfur

Khartoum - Acting Governor of North Darfur, Mohamed Beraima stressed that the state is witnessing stability in the security and humanitarian situation, and that the state is free of rebel movements and civil conflicts, due to the efforts of the various regular forces of the state and the campaign of weapon collection.
During his meeting with the visiting delegation of the US Commission for Religious Freedom, the governor said that the state respects all religions and beliefs according to the constitution, calling on international delegations to support social peace and voluntary return projects.
Deputy Head of the American Commission noted that the visit aims to inspect the policies of religious freedom in the African continent, besides the issue of peace and stability in the state, appealing to the society for the need for joint cooperation to safeguard world peace and build communication between peoples.
