Sudan Discusses Activating Borders Trade with Egypt and Libya

Khartoum – Minister of trade, Hatim AL-Sir has discussed the possibility of activating the borders trade through Hamza Al-Sheikh Crossing Point to resume the trade exchange with Libya and Egypt.
He added while receiving in his office North Kordofan Governor, Ahmed Haroun that his ministry is keen to activate the borders trade to minimize the smuggling and providing the essential commodities to the states, revealing his imminent visit to the crossing to resume the trade activities.
For his part, North Kordofan Governor, Ahmed Haroun briefed on the efforts of the state to control the market and banning monopoly, affirming his state’s readiness to sign a trade protocol with the ministry.
