Parliament Security Committee Calls on Western Countries to Stop Harbouring the Armed Groups

Khartoum – (SMC) The head of the Security and Defence Committee in the National Assembly, Maj. Gen. Al-Hadi Adam called on the western countries to stop sheltering the leaders of the armed groups and instead press on those armed groups to join the peace process.
Adam stated to (SMC) that there are no armed groups in Sudan as they became mercenaries in the neighbouring countries, describing the UNSC warning to the armed groups to engage in the peace process as too late, adding that it is better late than never, calling on the UNSC to press on the armed groups to join the peace process to achieve peace and stability in the area.
