Khartoum to Host Meeting of Quartet Committee with Egypt in April

Khartoum- Sudan Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Envoy to the Arab League Abdul-Mahmoud Abdul-Halim has announced that the quartet committee comprising the

foreign ministers of Sudan and Egypt and directors of intelligence services of the two countries would meet in Khartoum in next April following the tripartite meeting of the Renaissance Dam.
Ambassador Abdul-Halim explained in a statement to Sudan News Agency following the joint talks between President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi that the closed session of talks in Cairo Monday tackled bilateral issues and regional and international issues of mutual concern.
He said the President of the Republic stressed in the meeting the many bonds linking the two peoples, which represent an incentive for more cooperation and coordination for removing the outstanding issues and obstacles affecting developing the relations between the two countries.
He indicated that Cairo’s meetings focused on resolving the outstanding issues, boosting joint cooperation and protecting the relations between the two countries by removal of all obstacles through full transparency between the two sides.
