Washington Reaffirms Its Support for Peace in Sudan

Khartoum - United States of America confirmed its support for peace and stability in Sudan. The US Charge d' Affaires in Khartoum, Ambassador Steven Koutsis said, in a

press statement following his meeting with the Presidential Assistant, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim, said that the meeting discussed the efforts to promote peace in Darfur and the two areas, and what required from the United States in this regard, indicating that he briefed the Presidential Assistant on the keenness of the United States of America to exert efforts to strengthen peace in Sudan, especially in the two areas.
For his part, the Presidential Assistant stressed the commitment of the government to promote peace in Darfur and the two areas, praising the development of relations between Sudan and the United States of America.
