Volume of Turkish Investment in Sudan Not Exceeding 600 Million Dollars

Khartoum: (Khalda Elyas) State Minister at the Ministry of Commerce Abdulgadir Mohamed Ali Hasabalrasoul has affirmed the importance of trade and economic partnership agreement between Sudan and Turkey as it works towards raising the  competitiveness of the Sudanese economy  in the Turkish Market and increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.
He highlighted the role of the private sector in utilizing these opportunities as well as benefiting from private businesspersons's opinions and proposals.
He elaborated  in the briefing forum on trade and economic partnership agreement between Sudan and Turkey with Bultu Multi-purpose company which was attended by the Ministers of Agriculture, Animal Resources, State Minister at the Ministry of Investment along with many private sector officials , that  there are historic and political relations between Sudan and Turkey, however the balance of trade between the two countries is below the aspiration whereby the average of its volume stands at 500 million Dollars per year of which 450 million Dollars in favor of Turkey and 50 in favor of Sudan adding that the volume  of Turkish investments in Sudan are not exceeding 600 million Dollars
