USAID Mission Director Meets Minister of International Cooperation

Khartoum-The minister of International Cooperation Edris Suleiman and the director of US Agency for International Development (USAID)

Marcia Musisi-Nkambwe discussed on Thursday the projects implementing by USAID in Sudan concerning humanitarian aids, peace supporting, capacity building and vocational training.
The meeting was “Fruitful”  said the minister who urged USAID official to increase US aids to Sudan and to adopt development aid as strategic objective particularly after lifting of sanctions.
The coming period will witness more meetings with donors added the minister.
On his part, the state minister of International Cooperation Hussein Al Sharif AL Hindi stated that USAID supporting vocational training, agricultural support and supporting and training families in different aspects.
He said that humanitarian aids only doesn’t create a self reliance people, while the development aids provide them with production tools for more development.
