Khartoum – The Minister of Oil, Gas and Minerals, Eng. Azhari Abdul-Gadir Abdalla
, has discussed the desire of the Malaysian Petronas Company to increase its oil investment in Sudan, appreciating the continuing cooperation between ministry and Company.
This came on Wednesday when he met at his office the Malaysian Ambassador to Khartoum, Mohamad Razdan Jami.
The meting discussed the work of the company in Sudan and the current preparation to receive the President of the Malaysian Petronas Company who will visit Sudan by the end of current September for two days.
Abdalla described the visit as important, affirming his readiness to provide support for success the visit, appreciating Sudanese - Malaysian cooperation in the oil sector.
Meanwhile Jamil said that his company aspires for more cooperation with Sudan, especially in the etroleum and Gas fields, referring to the firm cooperation in the oil sector via Petronas company in number of squares and looking for more investment, hoping that the flow of banking transfers between Sudan and Malaysia will increase the cooperation between Ministry of Oil, Gas and Minerals and Petronas Company.
