Sudan-South Korea Economic Forum in March

The governor of Al Geziera State Mohamed Tahir Aila has informed that Sudanese South Korean Economic forum

will be kicked off coming March, the governor said “we have a good plan to improve industry in the State through generating local resources and funding”.
The objective of the forum is to qualify textile and leather manufacturing, this came while he was meeting the deputy of Sudan diplomatic mission to South Korea ambassador Al Rayah Hidoub.
The government has collaborated with the University of Al Geziera to establish number of industrial zones to develop transformative industry.
The governor pointed out to exchanging ideas and getting benefits from Korean experience to reconstruct Al Bagear tannery.
Aila has briefed the ambassador on the efforts exerting by his government to attract investors and to promote industrial sector to support the 2018 budget aimed at expanding export volume assuring that Al Geziera Scheme has been resumed production “the cotton production this year totaled to more than million Qantar” added the governor.
While the ambassador has emphasized that Sudan and South Korea will organize an economic forum in Al Geziera State due to its site and good transportation services.
