Sudan Participates in Australia International Cultural Festival

Khartoum - A delegation from the Council of the International People’s Friendship (CIPF)

in cooperation with the Sudan Embassy in Australia participated in Australia International Cultural Festival convened in the capital Canberra.
The Sudan exhibition in the conference contained samples of materials and paintings of Sudan heritage and culture. In addition to the participation of the CIPF Secretary General Eng. Abdel Moniem Al Suni Ahmed, Sudan Ambassador in Australia Ibrahim Al-Barud, the well-known Sudanese singer Ahmed Al -Tayeb also participated. It is worth mentioning that is the first time Sudan participated in this festival in which more than 60 countries have participated. The Sudanese delegation was composed of government officials, the private sector and the civil society organizations and the Sudanese community in Australia and all of them were dressed in traditional Sudanese costumes. The exhibition also contained many traditional Sudanese handcrafts products.
